Tim Dog ? Immortal (2003)
Savage seems uncharacteristically glad to see Superman and he soon explains why: the planet they are on is Earth, 30,000 years in the future and the entire human race, except for the immortal Savage, is dead, meaning that the whole Earth belongs to him now.

Long before the events of the series, Uka Uka was a powerful and evil shaman who aspired to rule the world, but was opposed by his older brother, Aku Aku. Eventually, both abandoned their mortal bodies and their immortal souls came to inhabit tribal masks. After this, the brothers continued their war against each other, but Aku Aku ultimately succeeded in trapping Uka Uka within a lost temple, where he remained for several millennia.
The elderly woman finishes telling her granddaughter the story, revealing she is Kim herself and saying that she never saw Edward again. She prefers not to visit him because decades have passed and she wants him to remember her as she was in her youth. She believes Edward is still alive, immortal because he is artificial, and because of the "snow", which Edward creates when carving ice sculptures.
Is it a curse or a blessing to be immortal? As fiction has shown throughout history, being immortal is nice because a person stays young and healthy, but it is also rough because that person loses every single person that they love through the years.
